A Leadership Development & Career Management Strategist
Murrieal Orendorff, founder and president of OneCareerCoach, has successfully partnered with everyone from recent graduates to experienced leaders to help them navigate their career journeys in today’s job market. The end goal is always to help others explore career advancement options and plan for success in today’s ever-changing workplace.
Coaching is her passion – she coaches others to become more confident in articulating their personal brand, and differentiate themselves in a competitive work environment.
Designing the right resume and giving the right answers in interviews is a lot easier when you are clear on what story you want to tell.
Murrieal’s career coaching expertise is built on the foundation of strong relationships and trust that supports open and transparent dialogue which leads to breakthrough thinking, goal setting and action planning. Clients execute clearer and more directed career paths and have a better understanding of how job market research works in their favor.
In addition to coaching clients on their exit strategies, she is expert in developing performance management communication strategies that improve performance ratings success with their existing managers. Subject matter expertise, vision, accountability, sustainability, flexibility, resilience and focus is the formula for moving through the optimal career roadmap.
Murrieal engages thought leaders across a broad spectrum of industries and professions. The array of professionals included in her portfolio include human resources leaders, technology experts, data scientists, researchers, account executives, business and data analysts, customer service professionals, brand/digital marketing experts, project and process managers from global financial services, insurance, manufacturing, communications, government and nonprofit organizations.
As former president of the Chicago Chapter of the National Association of African Americans in Human Resources (NAAAHR), Murrieal mentors others on ways to grow professionally. Currently she proudly serves on the Executive Advisory Council for Chicago’s NAAAHR Chapter.
Murrieal is an alumnus of Illinois State University, where she earned a BA in Speech Communications with an emphasis in Interpersonal Communication and Journalism.
